: : : : : : : : As the tutorial says, my method only works with PSP 4... newer versions of PSP, and all versions of Photoshop (I believe), do not have the ability to load palletes while maintaining indexes.
: : : : : : : Hey, it works perfectly with version 7 (except for those white dots you can fix by changing black to white in the palette and such)! When you get the "Open" window where you browse your system for the palette, you have the option to "Maintain indexes", near the bottom of that window.
: : : : : : The only thing that happens when using that, is that the entire screenshot becomes all bright and whitish
: : : : : : meh
: : : : : Not if you have the correct palette...?
: : : : How do I get the correct palette than...?
: : : In the correct way, i guess...
: : right... thanks for your help
: Open an original graphic of Dink, like Dink idle, Dink walking or such, and save that as your Dink Palette with the option 'save palette as' in PSP. If you want to apply Dink Palette to a graphic, open that certain graphic, choose option 'load palette', and choose the Dink Palette you've just saved. That's it.
Yeah, that's what I did. If I do that and apply the Dink palette the image gets all white and bright...
