I still can't make any screenshot
I've been trying it for a long time now, and I thought it had something to do with my old comp not being able to handle it, but on my new comp it's the same mess:
I press Alt-Print Screen, in PSP version 5 Edit-paste as new image, load colours palette (Dink Palette) and then I keep ending up with a weird, dark picture.
Now, how do make a decent one?

Are you maintaining indexes?
Anyway, if that doesn't work, try using Hypersnap DX, http://www.hyperionics.com/ .

How can I do that? I have PSP 7

As the tutorial says, my method only works with PSP 4... newer versions of PSP, and all versions of Photoshop (I believe), do not have the ability to load palletes while maintaining indexes.
Anyway, to get Hypersnap DX to work:
1) Start Hypersnap DX
2) Minimize it
3) Start Dink or a D-Mod
4) Press Ctrl-Shift-F when you want to take a screenshot.
5) Tada

That's exactly the point that doesn't work... When in Dink pressing Ctrl-Shift-F nothing happens, and when in Snapshot pressing Ctrl-Shift-F it makes a screenshot of my destkop, or any other thing but not Dinksmallwood

It works for me, but when I pressed Ctrl-Shift-F at the same time, it gave a black snapshot, but when I first press Ctrl, then 'add' Shift and then F, it works. There are only some white dots on the background, but those you can get rid of in PSP.
Yes, it works! Finally!

Hey, it works perfectly with version 7 (except for those white dots you can fix by changing black to white in the palette and such)! When you get the "Open" window where you browse your system for the palette, you have the option to "Maintain indexes", near the bottom of that window.

Ok, no prob. But try once more for yourself, that's easier for any other purpose.

Open an original graphic of Dink, like Dink idle, Dink walking or such, and save that as your Dink Palette with the option 'save palette as' in PSP. If you want to apply Dink Palette to a graphic, open that certain graphic, choose option 'load palette', and choose the Dink Palette you've just saved. That's it.
