: As the tutorial says, my method only works with PSP 4... newer versions of PSP, and all versions of Photoshop (I believe), do not have the ability to load palletes while maintaining indexes.
Hey, it works perfectly with version 7 (except for those white dots you can fix by changing black to white in the palette and such)! When you get the "Open" window where you browse your system for the palette, you have the option to "Maintain indexes", near the bottom of that window.
