Adventures of ED the SCV - By Dan Walma
Grade D/C Standard

Introduction: Dan's description for this DMOD was 'Take control of an SCV from StarCraft as he gets teleported to another dimension. Unfortunately, the Zerg have come along as well...' Basically, the DMOD is a StarCraft port to the Dink engine, and it's a fun little DMOD as well.
Storyline: As previously mentioned, you are 'Ed the SCV' as you're teleported into the Dink world, the Zerg are the enemy. I'm sure there is some difference to the StarCraft story, but no doubt there has not been much imagination behind the storyline, and the game seems to have been developed on the authors pure love for the original game, rather than developed for an audience. (6)
Gameplay: Actually a fairly fun game, dispite the lack of originality. There is however a very limited amount of gameplay, due to it being so repetitive. There are new gizmos everywhere littered throughout the game, but they aren't enough to save the DMOD from being a poor port to another platform. (7)
Graphics: There are a handful of new graphics included, and although not original and being from the StarCraft series, they serve their purpose well enough to make the game playable. The graphics however are very limited in detail, and are also extremely small at that. (7.5)
Audio: The actual music wasn't too bad, but was nothing extraordinary. It did however suite the purpose once again, and did not distract the overall game's gameplay. (7)
Conclusion: A fun game to play, providing you have the few spare minutes. There has been some work by the author to make this virtually bug-free, and of course to port the game from one engine to another, but if you're not a hardcore StarCraft fan, you may not find this interesting at all. A fair and just 6.9
