I wanted to make a dmod. However being a noob at the time I didn't want to plan out a story and have something later on that couldn't be done, so the story behind moon child was the silliest thing I could think of at the time. The story did change a little from the original design, usually just to lengthen it a bit. The inspiration was most likely simply wanting to learn DinkC.
