Ideas that are missing in ALL Dmods? Or do you mean ideas that haven't appeared in any Dmod yet?

Well, general moods/friendlyness of people. Act friendly, give items, and people in the game might reward you and be friendly to you, or start to hate you (like when you hit them or give stupid replies).

I don't get what you mean with "Idea that Developed in none but in my mind.. Wait for 3-4 hours for more info."

Why can't you say all of it at the same time? Or is all this a way to tease OUR brains by making us fit all the puzzle pieces (which are your posts) together into some whole that may or may not form something comprehensible in the end?

Generally I'd say these aren't the most helpful of suggestions, plus they're not always true either.

Just to name a few:
Hunting Wasn't something like that in one of Erwin's DMODs? Otherwise you could always play The hunt.
chess well...

And I could go on about things like social which is not uncommon in DMODs, unless talking is typically anti-social...

And honestly who would want trains, buses and airplanes in Dink? If it's just a list of what hasn't been done before I can refer to a number of wikipedia lists if you like...

Rajesh, I never went off-topic. And I don't know how else to say what I said, but it was A JOKE, well, kind of. The more I think about it, the more I find it funny that you would accuse someone else of not abiding to the rules, when you go around destroying every topic DinkDude makes about HIS game. I wonder if you run all our posts through Babelfish and reply on those machine translations, that would explain a lot

Actually, I have beem mulling "What concepts and situation have not appeared in a DMOD."

I thought about a reinactment of the Civil War, with Dink playing the part of Cornwallis. Or was that a different time and place? Nevermind.

Manipulating several hundred men charging each other, with muskets blasting, blood spurting and banners waving is too many for the likes of me.

It is more soothing to just feed the pigs.

You don't need a vacuum cleaner with Dink around, he cleans up fast enough in Mystery Island! There's a PC in As Good As Eternity and a genie (complete with magic spell) in Stone of Balance. For TV and radio you have the town news posters (they seem to keep up with the news pretty fast) and I can't really see a point in the dishwasher...

It does get quite repetitive and tiresome at the best of times.

My actual thoughts on new ideas, hmm
Well more everyday things like dishwashers, T.Vs radios aren't really what games are made of (unless it's something like the SIMs) the main reason we play games is to get away from the real world and do something different rather than just have an exactly same virtual life (eg. a boring version of SecondLife or what SecondLife is right now for that matter)
I do think the D-mods with new concepts are the more interesting but not a mix-match of ideas and reality, some things like Survival is interesting but not all that playable or fun so if you have new ideas in your D-mods but not overload them I think people will flock to you rather than mock you.

Sounds cool. I noticed that in Dan's Initiation, the cast dudes in the recreaton level (4) without the helmets on would spot Dink if they were facing toward him. Pretty cool. It would be nice if it was in most D-Mods. Most of them these days re crap though. I mean, the D-Mods section is just cluttered with crap D-Mods. Yes, there are quite a few good ones. But there are way, way too many bad ones.

I guess my reference to Cornwallis in the War Between the States, which was a feeble attempt at humor, was more like unto a lead balloon.

The problem most will experience in creating never before used situations / objectives is that it will require original coding, rather than copying someone else's code, re-arranging it, and presenting it as - - - - nevermind.

I am completely against Nested view.
Usually(in flat) I can make out by the manner of reply, that who replied to who. But(in nested) It gets confusing if the latest post is not at the bottom.
Also many people(which use flat view) just reply to the last post in thread no matter who they want to reply to. And then nested view users would mis-understand or miss the post.
And what happens if I want to reply to to diff. (people)posts on different lines in a thread. If I include it in one post then 1 of them(nested) is going to miss it. Or should I post twice at the same time?
To give refrence(@DD95 etc) & quoting is better.

Just my opinion.

OR
We can have this system-
Sub: abc
Sub: Re1: abc
Sub: Re2: abc
Sub: Re2: abc
Sub: Re3: abc
The no. increase by 1 to the one we replied to. And this can't(not able to) be edited by us while editing the subject.
Not perfect, but would minimise the problems for both view types.

"Also many people(which use flat view) just reply to the last post in thread no matter who they want to reply to. And then nested view users would mis-understand or miss the post."

Or we could just laugh at the flat-thread viewer who eventually gets lost amidst his or her own inability to keep track of conversation.

I always click reply at the bottom of the page, that's how it works on the 8 million other message boards on the internet BUT, that doesn't mean I get confused or anything. I mean, it's usually pretty obvious who's replying to who if you've read the entire thread.

And usually there's no point in replying to someone who's already been replied to. Because they're question or whatever might already be answered. And if you still want to relpy to them, to let people know, you can just use the italics thing like you and Tal did just then.

Trying to make d-mods a bit more organic is one thing - NPC's going about their lives, villages changing as time goes on, essentially making it seem that the world isn't static. Trying to inject some 'life' into the game, as it were.

Including soil erosion in a d-mod is ridiculous, unless it's integral to the plot. Which I find fairly unlikely.
