For the most part, anime sucks pretty bad. Though, I did thoroughly enjoy Death Note.

You can say that about most of humanity sometimes.

Watch One Piece or read One Piece and you will know that not all anime/manga suck.

Everyon'e heard of Dragon Ball Z! It's like, realy popular. Not my kind of show though. I'm not into those cartoons like One Piece, Dragon Ball Z etc. They just aren't my kind of shows.

There's also just plain Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT.

I don't read it, unless ElfQuest counts as manga (and I've never counted it as such, until they started publishing some manga versions of it :|). I also tend to like other types of cartoons better than anime. They showed "Magic Knights Rayearth" here a few years back, though, and I thought it was pretty neat..

It's called an o-p-i-n-i-o-n, Gokussj6. Striker found those pieces of anime to suck. Simply watching Princess Mononoke is NOT going to convince him that anime doensn't suck. He never even said all anime sucks, just the majority of it.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying, Sabre Most anime is, in my opinion, completely unwatchable examples of lazy storytelling and one-dimensional characterization.

Actually, I have seen Princess Mononoke. It was decent.

I like some of the stories made, but the drawing style totally sucks. Look at the insect-like eyes of a manga character for approximately one minute and prepare to go nuts.

Death Note is awesome, the best anime i´ve ever seen!! I watch Chobits, Full Metal Alchemist, Yu-Gi-Oh!, DBZs...

Wow... How narrowminded. I guess you must hate me then. I mean, I'm studying Japanese at college, the language and culture and I watch my fair share of anime (though I don't read manga as I dislike the black&white).

I can name about a dozen different things by thinking about it for just half a second that people get a lot more fanatic about, which I feel is silly, but I don't hate those people. It's actually called a hobby in some countries.

i agree, the manga is better than the anime. (no i'm not a member, please don't bother me) case in point: Rurouni Kenshin. and DBZ is one of the worst anime IMO, i'm partial to Noir, .hack\\sign, Noein, and i watched an episode of Afro Samurai, it was pretty cool. other than it was extremely violent, but eh.

I have only watched Dragon Ball(+Z +GT) till now. And am watching One Piece as it is progressing. But I might not watch any more in future bcos it takes too much of my time.

I'm following a few mangas as they get released and watch anime occasionally, but not that much.

It also seems to depend on a person's own preferences I think. There have been several popular anime series that I hated, but they still have a rather large fanbase.

To tell the truth, many of the more popular series, like Naruto and one Piece, I actually find among some of the most difficult for me to actually like.

That is true. I think that any show that has about 80 filler episodes one after the other cannot be golden, though.

The number is the amount of posts posted in the last month. It shows that your rate of posting is twice as high as anyone else's.

Anyway, about the topic, I watched Pokémon sometimes when I was younger, but I got bored after Team Rocket always escaped.

I thought I posted more than 300 posts in last month. And I now feel sorry, that I spammed second most. But, I posted in last month much. Not anymore. Atleast not so much. I mean. I actually HAVE been in TDN, since 2005's october. And, I hardly posted anything in this board.

I have always wanted more DBZ since GT was a let down. AF brought hope into my life until I heard that it was...well fake. There is a reason why fans should not make sequels...

Although I read into some of myths behind AF and it seems kinda ridiculous. People reaching ssj level bajillion and fusing with their mothers...eh, not my cup of tea.
