Because this thread might get a bit hairy, so to speak, any off-topic replies will be deleted. Please only post if you find a bug in a D-Mod that is probably due to 1.08, or if you test a D-Mod successfully.

Re-posted so it is a little easier to keep track of. No longer a hundred replies, and removed all of the D-Mods that were tested successfully (including the ones Tal recently went through).

Adventures of Dink Smallwood Part 1: The Town of Rakuna - House near well darkness problem? (Maybe not 1.08) Played through successfully (Tiny)

I played Dink Goes Boating a while ago (on v1.08) and I didn't notice any problems. Though, I played with the included .exe file, as it recommends it in the readme.

Dink Goes Boating works fine in normal 1.08 too. It gives an error message when you try to run windowed/high colour, but that was obviously done on purpose.

I think I already reported this, but in Eternal Suicide, some thinks won't work, because it uses int with global vars.

I played through "New Shores" - there was one error, which was if you talked to the woman in the village before getting the amulet, the game would freeze. Also, I noticed that >redink1< forgot to even add "The Ghosts of the Cast" series, and yep- I played all of them... In the first one many enemies glide/disappear while moving- Part 2, ditto - part 3 also had this error , but it improved upon many of the flaws in the scripting that bugged the first two.

He removed the Ghosts of the Cast series because I successfully finished all of them recently. If I remember correctly, any peculiarities in those D-Mods were in both 1.06 and 1.08, and could be attributed to the author being completely unaware of how to make a good D-Mod.

As for your New Shores error, could you identify whether it occurs in 1.06 or not?

You don't modify this very often, or, if you do, I have yet to notice.......

If I had encountered any errors in PQ I would have related them.... but the problem is that it seems to work in both true color and windowed mode fine (I played through 3 times... though the repeats were easy because I had already figured out all the secrets, which meant that all I really had to do was kill things and get levels up in differant stats). There were several times when I thought that I had come across an error... such as the traveling merchant was refusing to appear- just to find that the error was only on my part and that it was actually due to him being based on probabilty, like the travelers in the original game.... even minor bothers that plagued me in SOB like questionable tiling in places was almost nonexistant in PQ... it is just that it makes it really hard to try and test for errors when it has done so professionally (It appeared to have been much chrisper than ever the orginal Dink Smallwood game, which WAS professionally done for commercial use).

Eternal Suicide seems to be unfinishable with v1.08. Hadn't noticed this before.
It occurs in the Graveyard - no matter what you do, it seems you won't be able to trigger the "Nameless Grave" script, thus preventing you from saying "Gilim" to the door, and so the game is unfinishable.

I don't think this is a problem, the slayers will move inwards the screens to Dink.

Anyone else tested the game and found any serious bugs, lika a crash?

In World of DinkC, I somehow stopped the boss from talking(2nd time) by hitting him, although I should have been frozen.

Just so it's documented, there's a freeze that only occurs during the intro stage of BFTG if you're running it in true color mode. Unfortunately, the original source may be lost for good, so I can't really look at the error to fix it. Thankfully, I think it only occurs when you have IN-D with you and you talk to the Captain.

Is anyone updating this list? I see several d-mod names that are still listed as untested. Pilgrim's Quest a few times (add my experience as well, no problems), POTA at least once (again I finished this with no problems), and Lyna's Story worked fine when not using true color. Please update the list. Thanks.
