Despite the stress this day creates (I'm talking about the way it requires you to go creative, make Valentine's Day cards to people, and expect everyone to beat you at it), the inventors of the day probably had good intentions.

I bottled it. That shop is just too intimidating! Just ended up purchasing chocolates and a teddy, as well as cooking a meal... it did the trick, even if it lacks imagination.

Valentine's Day wasn't much, although I did get a rather special card. The day after it was much nicer. And the day after that was very much falling asleep in the classes.

Well... my Valentine's Day was a bit depressing actually... although I'm not a great believer in the holiday, my 'better half' isn't in the country, and a family member passed away that morning. And I had to work. So it wasn't too smile-worthy I'm afraid!
