Can't u add a smiley with the tongue on the side like msn messenger has.

Though the tongue placement is different, the tongue smiley that's already available basically conveys the same emotion.

Something like.. With rolling eyes (yeah, they don't make animated ones but you get the point) or with eyebrows, the other one lifted higher than the other.. I don't know, use your imagination.

Maybe an evil smiley would be a nice addition...

That would basicly be a smiley plus the eyebrows of the smiley. Maybe one angle of the mouth slightly higher then the other one.

That would be a lot better then the evil cat smiley.

While there might be a new animal arriving in the future, I don't want to add too many emoticons. After a while, they just get too similar, diluted, or just not useful.

Why can't we have a Tal, or a Banana?

Hm.. I'm not a fan of adding 5 million emoticons, but a banana, come to think of it, would be sorta nice. Maybe.

And it would be nice to have an emoticon with a beheaded duck.

I'm with redink on this one. If we have too many emocticons, someone could use one in their message that isn't quite what it should be used for and the message could me misinterpreted. I really don't even think a banana would be useful. When are you honestly going to use it?

And how often can the cat ( ) be used seriously, Merlin? I like lotsa emoticons, I (beleive it or not) have a lot of emotion that need expressing. Yes I know someone is gonna say,"Your post should speak for itself" Yeah but a smiley giveing you the finger never hurt anyone. A big list of emoticons can be used and applied correctly. I still want a X_X smiley.

Also on a side note, I have bad vision and the smiley just looks like a red and black smile... but upon further examination I can barely see the pointy eyebrow... Just thought you ought to know...
