Sporty Dinkers
I think I've asked a similar question to this before, but what Dinkers play sport? And what sport do they play? Or are we all frail little dweebs?
I personally play football (the correct term for "soccer").

I'm a rock/wall climber, but it has been a half year ago since I've climbed something (except for stairs and chairs and such). In a few months I'll be having my own room in Utrecht, then I'll start sporting again

I bike insane amounts... insane, as in probably 40-50k/day with some weekend trips going to 250k.
I don't know if it's a sport. Maybe some sort of self-punishment, but it's what do.

I thought of starting to play football again but I'm not sure if I want to endure the sucking before getting on the same level with the others... I used to play ice hockey too but nowadays only in wintern.

Lets see...
Swimming, Track & Field, Soccer, Basketball, Football, Baseball...
I think thats all of them.. Unless hiking on your free time with dad a sport?

Is cycling 150 km every week just to get to school (and back) sport as well? Because that's what I've been doing for the last five years...
Furthermore I'm to lazy to play in some sort of sport...

Hey, how familiar.. about 15 km to school and back? I did that too for six years.. but now I passed my exams so it's no longer necessary
Now I gotta travel by train and bus to the university.

well, camping (im going with dad to loktajotjokka in two weeks!) Yay!
What are you going to study and at what university anyway? I've gone by train the last year and I'm sick of it

Yep, about 15 km...
(somewhat more but I like to round up)

I play softball with my dad and his aged friends. The kind with mitts.

Chaotic

My fingers get a LOT of exercise, especially my middle one.
The evil Chaotic

I paintball.
But then again, that's not a real sport.

Computer Science (Informatica) at Utrecht University.. and I'll probably be travelling by train/bus for a while (mid Gelderland <--> Utrecht).. I've heard it's do-able by train & bus so I'll try that first for a bit. If it doesn't, I'll start looking for a room in a nearby town/village (or if possible Utrecht itself) to shorten the travelling time.
See you next year then, probably
EDIT: finding a room in Utrecht is hell. It took me one and a half year to get one.

Karate, but I'm currently out of practice, though it takes nothing to pick it back up again.
Yeah, I know that about finding a room in Utrecht itself.. but I'll try the train first. And a room in a nearby town would be fine too if that shortens the time.
And indeed, see ya @ uni then
I've seen that the buildings of these subjects are grouped together so heh

That, and the fact that I'm going to start my minor (or double major, if it's still possible) CS next year. We might even be following the same classes. Of the same professor. At the same time!
Scary...
Scary...
Heh, it's nice to see so many Dinkers aren't too unhealthy! I'm about to send my pic into DinkSquad. Sadly the only pic I could find of me on my own is where I'm playing football... and you can't see my face properly.
Unlucky for some.
Unlucky for some.

well take a dang pic already homo, oh yeah and i skateboard
Basketball and fitnes. Does driving to school count

I'm mostly just a frail dweeb, though I was contemplating playing tennis this summer. My tennis group parted ways pretty quickly though.
I used to ride my bike often, but that hasn't happened in quite a while, and I'm not comfortable enough with my new town to start that again just yet.

Skateboarding.
I also ride my bike a lot,I like doing bunnyhops over sewers.
And sport for my fingers-the guitar

I currently do various exercises about an hour each two days. I also do quite a bit of walking.
I used to swim a lot when I lived in Los Angeles, but there are no public pools here.
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Coincidence: it seems we're both doing the subject "Networks" this period - we might have seen each other without knowing

Ok, that does it...
I'm not going to study in Utrecht next year!

Networks this period, and Functional Programming in the last one. I know I've seen you and I can identify you. Thanks to the good ol' "who's who" photo database. I'm still doubting whether I will make myself known to you. Kinda scary

My picture sucks @ the who's who database
But it is a bit scary yeh

Utrecht you say? You two studying at De Uithof? That's where I spend most of my days

True though we're likely studying in different buildings as I can't find you (first- and lastname) in the database of all beta studies @ UU

I'm not a beta student
I might see you guys around sometime though, as I wander around 3 different buildings, and -ofcourse- a LOT around the Spar.

Yoga, golf, sex(the best all-body exercise), and bike... not necesarily in that order

Lol, I remember my girlfriend skipping all gym lessons, and she had to write an essay about "her favorite sport". You guess what that sport that was.
The teacher got mad, and she had to -instead of one- make five essays about five different sports. Ah man. Some people just got no humour.

Yeah, most educators have no sense of humor when it comes to anything that could be construed in any way, shape, or form as being some sort of social taboo.
There's ways of having sex that are.. and then there's watersports..
May I note that there are lil kids reading this... Tal cover your eyes!
Sex isn't a sport. Sports are competitive, and people typically want to win. Yet with sex I generally find coming second produces the best results.
