ADSL, it test out at 2MB/sec. , but I rarely see anything download faster then about 150 KB/sec. lately.
Don't give yourself a gold star yet because this topic has been done before and there are slower connections including mine. 19k 
When I d/l something, I get it started, leave and come back 3-4 hrs later. My connection is from before Noah's time. Drums or smoke signals would be better.

Well with my new computer, I have a router wireless connected to my friends DSL
I get average 27.0 to 30.0 with DAP associated I get as much as 38.0 cps
Pretty good.

Before I had cable, I had 56k, but my connections rarely downloaded at over 5kb/s.
i have 56k, but have been know to download at less than 1 Kb/sec.
Hmm... it depends. Usually around 500 KB/s, but I've gotten it up to 1400 KB/s once.

Ouch. 19? that's just painful. Almost as bad as going of cellphone. (14.4) That's what my dad does. heh.
And you know what I really hate? The line to get whatever it is that uses fiber-obtics, runs 300 meters from my house, and the telephone exchange thinge/whatever and they won't hook my hamlet up.
It's so infuriating sometimes....

Hm, what would be the fastest internet connection available (not necessarily to consumers)? I believe it's OC-45, but can anybody prove me wrong? Yeah, I want one of those.
Never heard about CO-45, but my school has a T1 which is really fast.
