The Error was made by a noob who couldn't handle losing in one of the harder D-mods so he decided to go nuts and destroy the dinkverse by creating a devastating error. but his noobnes kicked in so the error just became a new adventure for Dink to go trough.

As i'm sure you all know when we shut are computers off dink roams the kingdom Goodheart for some freelance adventures. One time on vacation to Mystery Island he found a high tech computer and decided to make his own D-mod but due to his lack of knowledge the game world collapsed unto itself and into what is known as the world of DinkC.

Nice start for the Let's Play.

As much as I like the topic discussions though, I'm going to prohibit myself from answering in this LP, to prevent any possibility for me winning again. That wouldn't be quite fair.

That hammer is used to torture prisoners yet strangely all women seem to love that "torture" method yet the goblin is too dumb to see that.

Ok, since there seem to be so few Topic Discussion answers, I think I'm gonna answer them anyway. Just give me some time to come up with an answer.

Once upon a time, there was the end of the world. No wait, let's go back a moment...

Now where were we? Oh yes.

Once upon a time there was a dead corpse. This corpse was the corpse of a Goblin, one that those of this clan/group/whatever, referred to as the Leader.
After a catastrophic ammount of faulty code caused an error, his lifecycle was set into reverse. Let's just say the code caused it, and not my meddling with time to get this post on the forums before the world ended some 4 months ago- I mean, later.

After about a month, the blood around this corpse suddenly started flowing into it, and it got up, confused. A month later, and the Leader's second head shrank, eventually disappearing, before he started shrinking even furhter. Now out of confusion, he went to ask his tribe what was happening to him, only to remember he was trapped in a cave by a rock that had appeared out of nowhere.
As his body continued to shrink, becomming smaller and smaller faster and faster, he had some final words of wisdom for whomsoever might hear him, as he suddenly became a small, dead goblin fetus;
"I don't wanna go back in!"
And then the fetus suddenly imploded, returning to the form of a dead goblin leader's corpse.

And so kids, Once upon a time, there was the end of the world. No wait, let's go back a moment...

Once upon a time, there were three teletubbies. Each teletubby was in charge of a specific genre; General, Parental Guidance, and Adults Only.

Lala, the General teletubby, decided to sneak a peek at what Tinkywinky, the Adults Only teletubby, was working on, only to find blood and duckheads.

And so, Lala decided to sing about how peaceful and happy ducks were. Her horrible singing however distracted the Dmod author, and so he mis-wrote the codes that handle ducks.

And so, one year later, the Duck Army invaded, seeking revenge.

Those ducks are Tal clones! THE HORROR!! THE HORROR!!

Topic Discussion: What's with all the rock blockages?

The rocks blockages are because they where placed by villagers fearing the pillbugs. as they believe pillbugs are pure evil and thus dangerous. COWARDS!!

The error this time was caused by the villagers trying to make a weapon of mass destruction to wipe out them pillbugs if only they didn't make 1 tiny math calculation causing the error.

really hope more people will join the discussion this time(and i miss the shout-outs )

As of now, the 'competitive' topic discussion has been scrapped, due to lack of attention these days. There will still be a topic discussion in some parts, but only when I come across something interestingly strange, or mysterious, and even then it will just be for the sake of discussing it for fun.
Since the topic discussion is now dead, I stopped scoring now. Merder, you won.. so please PM with a Dmod choice, and it will be started as soon as my other LPs that I have planned, or requested, have been completed.

I just checked it all out. That was several hours of watching, but it was fun.

Quite interesting to see what makes you mad, I'll remember it in my DMod designs.

Oh, and you totally missed your enemy encounters in this part 12; you did not encounter the slime before, and there were slayers, too. Or didn't you count them because they were in your intro screen?

Yeh... I seem to have forgot a couple of enemy encounters.. oh well, I'll try and remember to do them next time.

Wow.. youtube fully muted the audio of part 13, because it had the 'Hotel California' midi in it, and the copyright holder made a copyright claim... I've deleted the video, and I'll re-upload it at a later time, as soon as I edit that whole section of audio out, and re-commentate it just with voice and no game sound.
Youtube is so screwed.

You realize they do this exactly to protect the rights of some people? According to the law, I think the dmod is actually illegal. We may both agree that the law is stupid, but that doesn't mean it's any less valid.

It's relatively simple to realise that if you can't register something then you have no established copyright protection for that work. In this particular case, it is only the registration of the work in the fixed form of the MIDI File that is being prevented. The good news, is that you can still register the work by providing the US Copyright Office with copies in other fixed forms in lieu of the MIDI File."

RobJ's playthrough of the dmod isn't illegal in any way whatsoever - it's fair use. Youtube just summarily gets rid of anything they receive a copyright claim on, because they don't want to concern themselves with such things.

I was too harsh on Youtube, though; it looks like there are perfectly valid ways for RobJ to have his content back the way it was. Whether it makes sense of him to pursue that, though, that's up to RobJ.

Eh, I was kinda surprised how far DSPT got without YouTube starting to come at it about the MIDIs. A few years ago, somebody got his account deleted merely for (badly) singing a song in his video, without even any music. So no surprise they're going after the MIDIs.

Part 16 is now up. LP is nearly over.. only a couple of parts to go.

I didn't care for this mod and gave it by far its lowest review score (I may have been a bit harsh with 6.0), but I love Let's Plays and I think it's a very cool project you've got here. Thank god you've never covered any of the crap I made. I think I'd die of embarrassment. (This is not reverse psychology)

The mere attempt to claim it is not reverse psychology, will in fact cause it to become such. DinkSmallwoodPT team will now be scheduling playthrough's of your work to follow up on our currently (delayed but still going) Let's Plays.

ExDeathEvn is correct. With this LP nearly completed, expect an LP of one of your Dmods in the near future

This is mostly off-topic, but I've been (slowly) watching your playthrough of the original game and it's aces. There's lots of crappy LP on Youtube, but your videos amuse in surprising ways and your knowledge of the game is impressive. I have even learned a few things.

YouTube wasn't even around when I made World of DinkC so I can now use the videos to remember what it all looked like (don't have Dink installed at the moment)

I obviously missed all these replies back in September.
This LP has actually been complete since then, I just haven't uploaded the rest of it yet, it's been sitting on my computer all this time doing nothing lol. I'll get around to it next week.

Part 17 and 18 are added to the thread, and this LP is now complete.

Part 17 was actually uploaded to youtube a month ago, but I didn't update it here.

Well don't know about others, but like usual, I personally very much enjoyed that Let's Play. Will be interesting to see what D-Mod you'll pick next. Maybe I'll get back to doing DSPT LPs at some point, though doesn't seem likely at any time in the near future.

Though I do kinda miss the enemy encounters. Those were fun.

Enemy encounters will be there again...

They were technically there for this whole LP.. The double headed goblin already got an enemy encounters in a previous part, and since I was lazy, I didn't do a separate one for the boss

I've been watching a lot of the DSPT videos... not these, but I don't want to comment on Youtube, because I don't want a dang Google plus page. Screw that.

Anyway, they're awesome, and I'll keep watching them.

It's too bad that "Low exp challenge" never got much of anywhere, I was interested in that. There's not a lot of experience you're required to get in the original game, so it'd be an interesting challenge.
