I was bored, so here is the first Dink Awards ceremony! Please cast your vote of a d-mod for each category. Akin to the OSCAR's, these are the AFEDA's (unless someone can make a better acronym_

I don't care if you don't want to post. I just want to see what d-mod is generally thought to have the best music etc.

Doubt there will be many replies : But I would appreciate it if those of you like Eldrom, who aren't posting anything useful, to butt out!

Seth in the original Dink Smallwood. Probably because it was so unexpected, and the whole game (playing for the first time) build up to this final unknown. Everything since than has been kind of expected except maybe FB1 and Fiat.

Tough one because there are 4 good ones. Sometimes I think POTA, other times LOT or FIAT. But I have played SOB again recently and must pick it this time

I would also suggest an 11th catagory for Game Play, which in MHO is different than Plot.

For Game Play I would chose both Prophecy of the Ancients (for multiple spells in a rune, and the ability to change into different characters with them) and FIAT (for the 5 variations of each enemy and the elemental weapons to battle each).

Back from the Grave, again - it's tight and interesting.

Does the one in Back from the Grave count as a final boss? He's the only one in memory who was actually enjoyable to fight. Apart from in Cloud, but I'm not voting for that.

Quest for Cheese, although Back from the Grave is in there as well.

The following three are from my definition of Romp, Quest, Epic - that is, I can't remember which is which, so I'll rate them by what they feel like.

Hmm... FIAT was cool, but had extremely annoying parts, so I'll say LOT.

Current leaders for the great prize seem to be Redink (for FIAT), Simonk (for SOB) and I forget who did POTA! Striker is looking good as well, as BFTG is on hell of a demo!

And BTW Eldron, unlucky!! Seems other people are interested in this post, which i very much doubt you expected, judging from your post!

I don't know the exact distance from where I live to Belgium, but it's less then 1000 miles, obviously. Because I think you live somewhere you don't, don't have a fit.
