Click on Comments to read on.
The basic rules of the RRR are as follows:
1) You can vote for one D-Mod and for one Non D-Mod file. You cannot vote for two D-Mods or two Non D-Mod files.
2) Voting is done by posting a reaction in this topic with your choice.
3) You can not change your vote. So make sure you think before voting!
4) Only "well known" members are allowed to vote. This means that no ghosts or really new accounts can vote. This is done to prevent people from voting with alternate accounts.
5) Discussion about the files is encouraged. But please, no spamming or attacking other members!
6) The two D-Mods and two Non D-Mod files with the highest amount of votes of each RRR will participate in the Download of the Year Awards for their respective category in february this year.

I can't really vote for non-D-Mod files cause I haven't downloaded that many. But let's just go with "snow to grass tiles".
D-Mod vote goes to "Day of the Carcass".

Non-dmod: Inventory and statusbar layout
Dmod: Day of the Carcass
Dmod: Day of the Carcass
My dmod will be released in time for Q1 2010, I'm sure of it.
My votes goes to Day of the Carcass and The Armour Demonstration.

I don't give a crap about the non-dmod files at this point.
D-mod vote: Dink's Nightmare. I love it! If I ever get around to making a d-mod I'll have something similar to train up on (It will be called "The Dungeon of Endless Crap").

Chris, the news post says "The two D-Mods and two Non D-Mod files with the highest amount of votes of each RRR will participate in the Download of the Year Awards for their respective category in february *next* year."
Maybe instead of "next" you should say "this".
Maybe instead of "next" you should say "this".
I thought that was done on purpose so I didn't mention it
since i haven't actually used any of the non mod files ill just guess and say quest log.
for my dmod vote i say day of the carcass.
for my dmod vote i say day of the carcass.
I think I can figure who is going to win the dmod award
Day of the carcass will win anyway.
I vote The Lost Shoes because it was dåmn funny.
Dink Wallpaper 3 because it was funny also.

Lost Shoes is a piece of crap (no offense to the author), someone else should vote Dink's Nightmare so it takes 2nd place in the contest.
D-Mod vote: The Quest for Not Quite as Lame
I enjoyed playing The Quest for Not Quite as Lame more than I did playing Day of the Carcass but that's probably because I made it and had enough of playing it after countless of test runs. I would have voted for Day of the Carcass but since it's obviously going to win (like it should ) I'm voting for The Quest for Not Quite as Lame for being absolutely hilarious.
I still need to think about the non D-Mod files so I guess I'll vote for that later.

Dink's Nightmare is a piece of crap but so is the lost shoes
Can't someone else vote for The Quest For not Quite as Lame?
Can't someone else vote for The Quest For not Quite as Lame?
I CAN I CAN!
Just kidding...
D-Mod: Day of the Carcass
Non-D-Mod: Wait...that looks stupid.
Non D-Mod: Still thinking.

Everyone postponing this for dramatic effect, don't forget to vote, just two more days left now. =)
Dev: Dink Wallpaper 2
Getting quality fan art is awesome. Why this particular file? Because the duck has no head.
Dmod: Quest for Not Quite as Lame (The)
The funniest dmod in a long time.

Non D-Mods: Ummm... Chests and Breakables
D-Mods: The Quest For Not Quite As Lame, because it's great
But I must admit I didn't really play Day of the Carcass much, or The Lost Shoes at all.

Not EvilEarl, you can't vote because you are not a well-known Dinker.
Neither is EvilEarl so I guess he can't vote either.

EvilEarl is well known enough. And no, the ghost vote won't count... For clarity's sake, I'm going to delete votes that aren't eligible.
The Quest For Not Quite As Lame
Chests and Breakables
err if I am known enough to have a vote.......

Oooh let's vote!
My vote for best non-Dmod file goes to....*drumroll* 'where's your head at' baby! c'mon guys, a headless duck you can stick on your window! And with the absolutely spiffing montage... wooh! This is just *awesome*... yeah... Nah, okay, but I've got one file, so that's worth a vote, right?
Best D-mod: The Quest for the Not Quite as Lame.
Really cool and funny, though the mapping could be a bit more detailed, in my opinion... Day of the Carcass is cool too, but that's a demo, so I'll wait for the real big thing

I haven't really looked into the non-DMOD files too much, so no vote from me there.

Skull is kinda right, I don't care to post that much (atleast for now until I have some actual DMOD progress to share), but I've been into Dink since time immemorial: I first found out about TDN when there were about 30 DMODs in here...
aw gosh, im such a n00b. yeoldetoast if you reply to that ill rip off your balls and feed them to you.
Pretty exciting, Day of the Carcass and Quest for not Quite as Lame are both tied with 8 votes. Less than a day left to vote, people!
What happens if it ends in a tie? Fight to the death? Re-vote with the tied files?

Let's play... Sudden Death.
DUM DUM DUU DUM!!

I liked both Quest for not Quite as Lame and Day of the Carcass. A tough decision. I promised Pillbug that I would betatest his D-Mod, but I failed him and forgot the whole thing... In return, I promised that I would make a review to the D-Mod, which I haven't done yet either. I'm sorry Pillbug.
As for the both mods, I found that they were both entertaining in different ways. Pillbugs D-Mod was a fun one, although the environment lacked of details (since I am a detail freak sometimes, this was a letdown). Erwins D-Mod was a very well scripted D-Mod, in fact one of the best scripted D-Mods I've encountered so far. I also appreciated the effort Erwin had lade on the environment and atmosphere.
I guess I'll break the tie now...
D-Mod: Day of the Carcass
Non D-Mod: (I haven't checked these files out yet, ZARI!)
I'll run away now.

Closing this RRR is taking a little longer than planned because of my kickass party yesterday. I'll let it open for 1 more hour, after that, your vote will not be counted!
My votes:
Non D-Mod: Dink Wallpaper 3 (because it's extremely cute and well done)
D-Mod: Day of the Carcass (epic, clever, and I'm dying for the full release. Release it Erwin!)
