Phones
Inspired by getting a new mobile tellyphone, I was wondering what everyone else has. I abandoned my trusty Nokia 3510 after approx. 6 years together and acquired a N82, a camera than can be used for calling as well. (It probably ain't that great, but it seems to take good photos)
So which phone have you got and do you change yours super often?

I have a Nokia 6131, which I've had since about a year ago... before that I had a Nokia 8210, which I had since... very long time ago. Even prior to that I had a Nokia 5110... which I got in 1999. So, that's been three phones over 8 years. So I've switched approximately every two and a half years.
I recall you having a Nokia 3210 at one point... though that was more than six years ago, it was.
I've only had Nokias. Seems like I'll continue getting Nokias too. Always served me well, they have.

I have nokia 6103, the first and propably last clamshell phone I'll have. It's okay, except when compared with my previous phone, which was pure unrestrained awesome. The menus make less sense and it's more cumbersome to use, it hasn't sustained a lot of abuse but there are already problems with the screens (they flicker randomly and you have to hit the phone on something to fix it), the battery is poor, the menus and pictures take a long time to load and sometimes the cellphone just outright freezes up and I have to take the battery out and put it back in to fix it. How bothersome! I could go on listing more minor annoyances I have with it, but you propably get the point already.
Now my old phone, the nokia 3100, THAT was the best thing I've had since 5110. The interface was great, the phone went swimming a couple of times with no real damage done to it (some buttons were a bit harder to press), the battery was really good, it was just the right size for me and it ducking GLOWS IN THE DARK!! Talk about greatness.

I hate cellphones. My parents got me one, and I traded it down for the cheapest model offered, and I don't use it. All it does is cost me money.
When I first moved out to where I was, my cellphone was invaluable, but now... not so much.
Totally with you on that one, buddy! Cellphones suck. They cost way too much money. And besides, the radiation travels through your ear into your brain, that's not very good for you, either.
Haha, barely. Most anything radiates, cell phones just do it a small bit more.
I did never have to use my cell phone much, but since I'm in uni, working in two project teams, they tend to call and text me a lot to let me know where they are when I arrive at school.

I haven't used my Alc 159 since I first turned it on...
I have a Samsung G800. It's costing me loads of money, but it looks really, really cool.
I have the Sony Ericsson W300i. It's a lot snazzier than my old Nokia clunker (can't remember the model number offhand). I went without a cell phone up until two or two and a half years ago, but now I'm not sure how I could bear not having one. Don't get me wrong, I still hate phone conversations, but when you absolutely need to contact someone, the cell phone is invaluable.
I don't have one, nor do I want one right now. I wouldn't use it much anyway and it would become too much of an expense. I'll get one some day...
i mostly got mine because everyone else had one. it doesnt cost me much money since i dont ring people on it and i only text people (which on my plan only costs 1 cent-for people who dont understand(for example germans or africans) it is $1AUS/100 (one hundredth of an australian dollar)) so i dont have to pay much
“for people who dont understand(for example germans or africans)”
Uh, what? Could you elaborate?

Germans and Africans have to pay only 1 cent because they don't understand.
I had Nokia 3500 3 years ago. Now I have Nokia 6100 and it is OK for me.
I use a sony ericson K300i but its kinda GRAMMER MISTAKING me
I have a SPV C100. It's good, the only problem is that is has Windows Mobile on it, and it crashes often. I had a Nokia 1100 a few years ago.
