I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to.I guess.
First off, posting links to music on the board is treading the line to posting links to copyrightable materials. It's not hard to find this stuff on your own, and converting to mp3 or whatever format is very, very simple nowadays. And, as I'm a consumer whore sometimes, I'll have to say dbpoweramp is great for this.

He's right you know, the stuff posted on those sites is usually free-to-use, though it's always a good idea to give a credit to the file authors... something we often forget to do (or can't always do) with midi files.

Let me heat that up for you...
i do that with general files, simply because when i start making a dmod, i use many files, and forget to document who i got them from, and what i actually got. so, i have work to do, tracking everything down. so in DESA if you find that i am missing the author to a dev file or something, please let me know, and i will look into it.

anyway i would stick with .mid's 1. they are easier to use and 2. they are more compatible with dink engine

MP3's are also compatible with DInk engine if you have Dink Aural+
and they are also easy to use .

Paragon's decent but very much overused. Sadly, the only genre on that site that actually has produced decent music is in the electronica sections. I remember the other categories being rather under-represented in quality.

Mmmm, pizza.
The Musical Instrument Data Interface? Is that the new MIDI, where the signal is data instead of digital

But yes. Usually, MIDI is good enough for D-Mods, and there (still) are plenty of MIDIs to be found.

Whoa, I haven't visited OCR in a while, so this comes as a surprise. I was never a fan of his piano mixes, but I thought his orchestral stuff was very good. Always sad...

I know, they've lost a fair number of mixers... though, the only ones I can think of are Avien and Mark Star... but I know there are others.
