PQ- poisoning the well.

I have seen the well and I have the corpse in the bottle, but, the well is
barricaded and I have tried to thro from across all angles, to no avail...then I
cheated and warped over to near the well, but, still no luck...so, please tell me
how should I poison the well and get on with the game?

You cheated? Shame 
You need to stand in the correct spot and half a certain agility level. The correct spot is opposite the well and near/on the rocks on the ground. Dink will only throw if you're on the correct spot. The throw will only be successful if you have a sufficient agility.
When you can poison the well it is time for you time leave, grasshoper...

Sorry Simon, I cheated and did not need to...but, I figured it out already, now I am having a tough time killing those octopus like creatures in that funny underground place in the red water.

Sorry Simon, I cheated and did not need to...but, I figured it out already, now I am having a tough time killing those octopus like creatures in that funny underground place in the red water.

I just tried to avoud those at all cost, they are tough!

Yup, I am doing the same thing, tried all the magic I could think of, tried the death star also, but, these idiotic creatures, they keep disappearing and coming back from some place else altogether and they hit real bad, died a couple of times, now am doing the smart thing and running away. Simon, why do you do this to us?

Some enemies are very hard to beat the water/blood demon is one. Death Star is your only hope and you have to fire it in front of you as you move... either that or try and avoid them

I also found that the pestilence cures that the guy sells for 2000 gold each work to replenish your health even in the rowboat. The elixirs from the first world did not work, but the pestilence cures from the destroyed world did.
