Any ideas to my Dink Smallwood training camp?
Is it anyone that have a idea to my Dink Smallwood training camp DMOD?
what do you mean, any ideas to your training camp dmod?
umm... Jedisecret. i am not quite sure what you are talking about, but i think it is a toturia or someting. am i right of not???
I am going to make a Dink Smallwood training camp DMOD, where newbies can can be trained up.
oh!.. i see,but i aint got any ideas. sorry jedisecret
you mean being trained in how to make a dmod or being trained in how to play dink smallwood?
this is kinda frustrating for the other dinkers jedisecret try to be morte specific
I am going to create a trainingcamp DMOD that can train newbies to play Dink.
For example:
It is a strenghtpotion in front of you and a invisible guy says:
"This is a strenghtpotion, this potion will give you +1 to strenght. To pick up the potion walk over it and Dink will automaticly drink it."

oh.. now i understand a bit more
How about: This is dead, now you have to reload and that over and over and over again
But i stil dont have any ideas
"This is dead, now you have to reload and that over and over and over again"
LOL
I'l think i'l use that in the end

I hate to nitpick, but surely even n00b Dinkers will have played the original Dink (why else would they want to download d-mods?) and will thus know what the potions do.
Yeah... I mean, its a great idea in theory, except it would be like a game telling you "See the white smallish thingy in front if you? That's the mouse. And that weird rectangular thing with lots of squarish things on it? That's the keyboard. Each of the squarish things on the keyboard represents a 'letter' in an 'alphabet', along with some functional keys, and that alphabet is probably English. English was founded in the year 315 AD as a revolt against the King of Bengland, whom people did not like very much because Bengland was a retarded name for a country. So they revolted, and renamed their country England, an even stupider name but they were common folk and couldn't read very well. So to combat this lack of literacy the people created English. Now then, onto the functional keys of the keyboard. The keyboard was created in the year 1665 by Dr. Frankenstein as a way to program a monster made of many different body parts that would be jump started by an electrical diffusion of energy known as lightning. Lightning was developed in the year 15,000,000 billion BC by an old guy who said 'Let there be lightning', and there was lightning, and it was good."
Now, that wouldn't be such a good idea, would it?

Well, as long as there are free refreshments, i'm all ears (as well as any other body part, i'm willing to sacrifice it all)

I will tell them which sword that are the best and such! Dont what the mouse and keyboard is!

don't you think that would mostly depend on which dmod they're playing?
While my example was your idea taken to a sarcastic extreme, I still think your idea for a training D-Mod is superfluous.
It seems like you want to take out any possibility of a player to think for themselves. I mean, they'll figure out that a red potion is a strength potion when they touch it and Dink says "I feel stronger!" or whatever. And likewise, they'll figure out that a sword that costs more gold is better.
Dink is not that complicated of a game.

is this training camp going to show how you make the potions too or just the playing of dink smallwood?
Theoretically, if they can't figure out how to play Dink, they won't have any idea how to install this D-Mod either, so it's for moot.
theoretical, dink is easy enough, the hard part is finding out how the quests work, and training to look @ dinksolutions is a bit weird...
Englands a better name for a country then America. Frickin' yanks...
Although it may not be of much use to people, it will still be a good practice run for your skills, Jedi. I say do it, but don't take it too seriously
What is long, hard and full of seamen?
A submarine
A submarine
That joke doesn't really work when it's been typed. But never mind.
If you say what is long and hard, it's much harder to say the right answer ...
Are you going to do that "Harry Potter down the drain" mod or this "training camp"?
First this bootcamp, then perhaps Harry Potter Down The Drain
