strange midi issue
i open dink so that the title screen is shown but just hit cancel and exit right away. do it again. on the 5th time (exactly) the midi on the title screen will not play, and no other midis will play in dink until the computer is restarted. does this happen to you???
i dont know. it did that like 3 times in a row and now midis arent playing at all. but only in dink.
It happens sometimes during the game - midi music will simply stop working. I've no idea what causes it though.
no midis play in dink ever but they play fine when i open the midi file.

Make sure you've updated your sound card drivers..
IF that doesnt work, then try this:
(NOTE: I found this when I was looking in some databases I have, I thought this only works for win95/98, im not responsible for any damage )
//EDIT: Be smart, backup the .ini file
Launch the explorer, go to your Windows directory and open the "Win.ini" file. Find the section [MCI Extensions] and add below the line "mid=Sequencer" (without the quotes). It might fix your problem.

mid=Sequencer is already in my mci extensions.
i reinstalled my 1998 sound card driver and it works now. i think i screwed something up when i was making the midis stop from quitting. dont try it.
