So....Steam has a Greenlight now.
Hey Seth. How about submitting Dink Smallwood to Steam Greenlight? DMODs can be submitted to Steam Workshop.

Let's post this on the RT Soft forum.
Hey guys, someone emailed from these forums about this, but the aol.com email address kept bouncing. (SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data)
Anywhere, here was my reply:
Well, I thought about it, but I don't think realistically we'd get enough votes.. also, I don't think Steam really wants old free games... :/ Let's see if any other old freebies get greenlit, if so maybe it would make sense for Dink.

It'd be pretty cool with DinkHD on Steam and DMODs in the workshop. It won't hurt putting it up on Greenlight.
Except that DinkHD is heinously glitchy.
No need to be a negative nancy, Skorn.
Honestly, I'd love to have Dink on Steam It's possible for Dink to not get enough votes, I guess. $100 for a chance? Considering Dink will stay on Greenlight for as long as it takes for the game to be accepted, I'd say it's a relatively good deal.
100 dollars for a game that no one will care about.
Then there's the part where you can just put DFArc on Steam.
What's the point?

WHAT? Don't you like the prospect of having to run some crappy memory hog DRM in the background just to play Dink?
It's the future!

No, in fact, crappy memory hog DRMs are the plague of PC gaming.
well 100euro's i wouldn't pay but a few Euro's i'd be more than happy to pay for the game .
and Skorn i highly disagree on the noone caring part for 1 i do care about the game and 100% sure many members here about this game do care about it too

I don't agree nor disagree. If it brings new colour here, then I agree that Steam is a good idea. If it doesn't, then it's just a waste.
any idea for to help Dink is a good idea that's what I say.
seth i am sure dink smallwood would get greenlit for sure , i mean black mesa , a free hl2 mod got greenlit , please submit dink smallwood hd and see the votes jump in , as fans of the game we would everything possible to spread the news around.
i am sure if we started a donation page , we could get 100$ for entering dink smallwood into greenlight , dink is a amazing piece of gaming history that should be on steam along with older games there like quake 1 , unreal etc which were around since that time

Hey, speaking of old games, what about getting Dink on GOG though?
Realistically we can get the game faster on steam due to how easy its now to publish games on steam than gog
