Most of you probably won't remember me, but I popped back to check the DN after a very long time away (well, at least 6 months I think, possibly closer to a year) only to find that redink's moved on, the site is all shiny and my account still exists. Fabulous!

Anyhow, I just thought I'd say hello to you all, and add a few 'hail's to the new monarch and the like. Belated congratulations on the red star Tal, and I hope you're all well.

Now, if you came back 5 years from now, and changed your name, gender and/or species, some people might have a more difficult time remembering you. Only some.

I recall you. I was supposed to help you with something, but we never really got started, and nothing actually came of it.

Too true. I honestly wouldn't have noticed you were gone had you not said so, IceDomina. Six months is nothing, I didn't see one of my friends for more than two years and either of us really noticed until we started thinking about it.

Welcome back. I don't remember you, but I probably should. I can't say I'm a dinosaur here, but I'm not completely new either. I come here sporadically, just because I can't leave completely.

Goodness me I'm flattered to be remembered, but perhaps that reflects the pace of the community rather than my spectacular-ness (that's not a word... ah well).

The thing we were going to do, Phoenix, is update the Dink fan-listing site. I may just get my act together and do that, if there's enough interest? Really its just an official list of fans of the game and various other facts, but we could do anything with it really. It wouldn't be nearly as flashy as the DN because I'm not nearly so nifty with HTML-related stuff, but hey, I get by.

So... if anyone thinks its a good idea, or has any suggestions, let me know If there's no interest at all I may just redo it anyway for my own amusement. (I'm going to get my wisdom teeth out in a couple of weeks and will have nothing else to do to block out the pain )

Oh, and as was suggested, 'greetings to the new folk who I haven't met', and a hearty "cheers!" to those who remembered me. *Raspberries* for those who didn't. Ahem.

I was rather ill for a long while Sharp... thus my lack of action. I just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and am feeling rather yucky, but presumably that will pass.

I will get my act together and do something about it in the not-too-distant future, hopefully

That bites. I've got several wisdom teeth that I'll probably have to pull someday, but until they start giving me pain, I'll avoid it.

The dentists here nag about how it'd be much better to yank'em out before one turns 25, as they supposedly heal much better before that. Dunno, I'm all for waiting as well..

But yeah, teeth jobs usually suck. And no pressure about the fan-thing, I meant it mostly as a joke

As a wee update on the fan-listing thing... Since getting my wisdom teeth out back in July there's been obstacle after obstacle and I really haven't got around to doing much. (Most of them have been legitimate obstacles too for a change!) However, once final exams are out of the way for uni, I will dig out the remains of my old laptop (which has all the old files on it relating to the fansite) and maybe get my act together.
