I feel like I'm going to die. (love story)
Off topic, but I need to get this out, and miasma 2.0 isn't out so people can't see my online diary (don't ask).
I've been wanting to get back with my EX (we have been dating off and on for 4 years now) and I have been fruitless thus far in my attempts and I have given up. Well, tonight at 8PM I got a call from her wanting to go out and hang out. Well, I went with her to a bowling alley with her best friend and her boyfriend. Well, it was bad, we pretty much didn't talk, her and her friend had a girl moment, and he and the guy talked programming and such. We couldn't get a lane at the bowling alley because there was a two hour wait and so after 30 min of sitting around, we decided to call it a night. We came back to my house and I invited her in (about 9:30). We started to talk about personal things and such, and before I knew it, we were laying on my bed holding each other, a little kissing and in deep conversation. 11:30 rolled around and she had to leave, and before she left I grabbed her and asked her when was between us, after talking (by talking I mean the type of talking you do with you actions and in you mind) she said, I think we are dating, but you are not my boyfriend. i asked her WTF that meant, and she explained the because of the serious crap in her life she didn't want a boyfriend she needed to worry about. She also stated that she wanted to take everything slow so we wouldn't 'over heat' the relationship and break up again. (Which I agreed was a good thing) I told her that if we were dating, I didn't care what she said, she is my girl, and no one else. Also that if we are dating I wanted to see more of her; She nodded and turned to leave, I Turned her back, wished her a good night, and kissed her goodbye.
Sorry, had to get it off my chest and everyone is asleep. Tell me what you think.

. But I understand how you feel. Well at least look at it positive. She said you 2 were dating , huh? Well, it's still better not seeing her at all. And from my experience I learned that having a relationship when 1 person doesn't feel completely good (referring to the problems she has), most of the times it turns out very bad, and splitting with loads of fights and stuff.
Anyway , I wish you the best WC and hope you 2 can start something beautifull(eventually)

Anyway, I don't know the background, nor the kind of issues that she's dealing with, but 4 years is a long time to be dating on and off.. It's probably worth it, or not, I don't know Anyway, just see what happens next, what else can you do?

Around this past August, my girlfriend found out she had cancer of the uterus after months of being sick. She went through many tests, most concluding that surgury was needed, but that she would be fine afterwards. The first operation went well, and we thought it was over and done with.
More operations follows, as it seemed the doctors were wrong. Very wrong. To make a very long story short, nothing went right after November. She continued to be very sick, spending even Christmas in the hospital.
We were together for 3 years. She passed away Tuesday, and life doesn't seem so fun anymore.
Three years of total commintment. In the end, I wouldn't have traded those 3 years for anything. She was my best friend, and that is the most important part of any relationship. Go slow, and follow your heart.

Sorry to hear that man. I recently had someone I love pass away too, if you need someone to talk to, contact me man. Just try to stay strong, and keep her memory with you, think of what she would want for you, and thats what would have made her happy.

BTW, if you get a chance, see the movie "Whale Rider", made in New Zealand, it's a great movie. I might even go and see it twice, despite having to pay $13 for a STUDENT pass... bloody rip off that is..
