Dmod Intro Question
Is it more preferable to have an opening intro sequence before the Logo/Start sequence, or should it come after you have started the game?
Also is it preferable to have a "Skip Intro" option?

most dmods i have played usually have the intro after starting the game, but there is nothing stopping you from doing it before the logo.
you may use a 'skip intro' option if you like, it is up to you. if the intro is short, i don't think it would be needed. but if it is a long intro, like the scenes in crosslink, then yes, you probably should have a skip intro option

Some d-mods use the "custom save" trick used in FIAT and Cloud Castle 2, so that you only have to play through the intro the first time you load up the d-mod. And if they want to view it again, you can make an intro button in the main menu.
Thanks for the feedback and info Striker & Fireball. It gives me something to think about, to see how I want to approach this.
You could make cutscenes skippable by using a button like Enter.
