Playin solitare till dawn with a deck of 51..
I'm pretty sure the well is going to be the key to re-supplying water to the fountains. But I can't find a way into it. What am I missing people? Or do I just go beat the heck out of the author and Escape?

Mildly deranged.
There are 3 wells in the game, and they all will do something for you if you talk to them long enough - and in the right order of course.
You shouldn't be able to get to the final one (the green glowing one) without having talked to the other two first. If you can, I'll add that to my list of things I have to fix.

I thought I had played through the dmod pretty thoroughly, but I didnt' see a third well, and the second wasn't in any mood to give me anything.

Might there be a walkthrough available somewhere? If not (or either way, really), might you be inclined to elaborate on these wells?

You need to bug the second well pretty badly before it'll tell you anything, and that should lead you to the third (late reply - internet got cut off).

Exactly where is the second well located? I got to the other two:
1)the one who joked about wells, eyes, dears and legs and then gave the fireball to Dink for listening to its lame jokes
3)the litted well, which I was somehow able to access by walking over the eastward fencing located at the Magical turnip household screen. (I don't know if it was suppose to be that way or if it was an un-caught bug).

By the way, LadyValoveer, so far, I am enjoying the storyline and the beautiful scenery very much. Keep up the nice work. *thumbs up*

In memory of Skull.
I think the second well was in the town somewhere.
