Adventures of Blue
Working on a new sort-of alt hero Dmod, with the squire-to-be Blue. It'll also switch at certain points in the story to the other main characters Dink and the Silver Knight(Sir Bob). Should be alot of fun.
Had a cool idea for the Mirthwoods area. Vision is set to a random number to allow the same map to have multiple appearances; the map number is also changed on certain maps to further confound the player.
Added in some new graphics, spells and weapons. Didn't want to overload it too much; since it's supposed to be in the same kingdom as the original game.
The main enemy is the Cast Knights and their evil wizards, with the heros alternativly running from or attacking them.

Romp?Quest?Epic? Any release date?
Good luck, you'll need it. It sounds pretty complicated, normally I'd say you should release something simpler first. But hey, this plot sounds pretty decent. The greatest problem I see is to make screens consistent even when different visions are enabled...
In the past I was designing the plot for a alternative hero DMOD starring two different knights too. One was evil and one was good, the good one was hunting the evil one (who was killing and plundering). You got to play both characters alternately. And in the final battle you got too choose which knight to play for... (In the mean time the evil knight had become reasonably good and vice versa.) For some reason I was reminded to it, hope you get it a lot further than I did...

Hmm, pretty interesting idea that, metatatarasal (man, you're name's a she dog!)
I thought it was spelled metatarsal not metatarasal.
Yeah, Endy, good luck
Metatarsal you got a really cool idea there... It would be very nice to try to make a D-Mod using that idea

I know it has the wrong spelling, but metatarasal just looks better to me with vowels and consonants alternating. Plus it makes my name unique.
It's probably going to be a Romp to keep from getting too complicated. The woods aren't going to be too much of a problem, they have blank areas blocking most access to the sides, and the base zero is empty save for marker stones.
Basic set-up:
0 - nonwalkable maps
1 - walkable maps
L - loops left one map
R - regular map

Zero hardness errors, horray!
Anyhow the detailing seems like it's going to be the longest part. The coding side seems easy in comparision.
