Well, I don't have access to polls anymore for some reason... and Tal *has* actually come up with some good polls recently. Or, at least, one.

If you don't like the job I'm doing as Poll Master, send me a PM. If you want to suggest a poll, send me a PM. E-mail's fine too. Otherwise, please don't complain about the lack of options. I don't have 25 hours in a day to think of all possible options. My goal was to change the poll since I was a day late (Tal threw me off), not list 543 options.

Actually, it was only for that one poll and because it was a stupid joke poll. I guess you couldn't deal with someone messing with a silly poll with only one option.

Chrispy did suggest a better extra option (if in a sarcastic way) and you completely shot them down. In these lights, I think my actions are completely justified.

I normally I wouldn't dignify a comment like that with a response, but most of those votes you see there... those are from bots spamming the polls.

Yes, idiot spam bots have taken a little liking to this web site. They submit every form on a page that they can, including the poll, and leave comments in text boxes like "Cool site, visit me at http://www.iamabugdumbspamer.idiot"

That's why the Complaints box is gone, because spam-bots filled it up.

I hope to add spam-bot protection to the poll in a little while.

I have a novel idea. Require the user to be logged in prior to being able to vote.

It likely has something to do wtih the polls being on the main page and the forums being burried in the site a bit more.

And because the site is custom coded, we don't get bots that specifically target certain types of boards, like phpbb2 or invision.

Super cool. Lets hope we can stop these spammers somwhow.
