Re: every human being NEEDS to watch this video immediately
You give any large group (with an already poor track record) an easy-to-use power... they will inevitably use and abuse it at some point or another.
Only human beings? Why do you need to discriminate?
well any other species is above the petty crap our race has to deal with
That for sure did give it a twist, pretty sharp and scary.
- uhh, what a terrible world, out there.
- I definitely rather keep my computer company...... and Dink Smallwood.

Send to Bill O. He and Olbermann are basically at each others throats- over ratings and idealism.

They both kind of suck... they blow every little event way out of proportion, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lie about a lot of things.
Although Olbermann happens to be right about this particular issue (our government frequently hauls in "terror suspects" who turn out to be completely innocent,) he acts like it's darfive. No, it's really not that big a deal. Even before 9/11, we routinely arrested (or at least harrassed) American citizens based on essentially no evidence (usually, because they were black, and/or happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.) Confessions obtained by torture are also quite common at the city level, so, in perspective, this is a small issue.

Hey, anything that puts the spotlight on reprehensible things like that is a good in my book.
I don't know. I do agree that this is surprisingly somber for him though. The segments Oddball and The Worst Person in the World are good for an occasional laugh. His show is far from news, though. When I watch it, I feel as though I am reading an editorial or a blog. He talks about what HE cares about, whether the audience actually cares about it is a different story.
Even so, it is the most watched "news" program after The O'Reilly Factor.
The show is not very serious and is often somewhat funny, but never as good as the daily show. Even so, this statement is not one to be overlooked.
