totally bored
Okay, so I'm at work right now. Its totally dead...I'm really good at what I do...
So I work in the airline business. For the past couple of days its been a mad house here with all of the plane hyjacking plans going on...i don't know if anyone watches the news. Well I guess everyone is okay now because I have nothing to do at this moment. Which brings me to why I am posting right now.
So while I am still bored I wanted to kinda know what everybody does outside Dink. You know..jobs..school....whatever. Cool?

I'll be going to study IT at the end of August. I'll be doing that for about 4 years. Next to that I'm doing a parttime email helpdesk for a Dutch sms service.
Well, I'm a student, passing in the last year of highschool, I love math, and recentlly, I found a new hobby: Delphi. I usually spend many hours in front of the computer.
I'm a 21 year old guy, studying *cough*sociology*cough* at the University of Leicester (Karl Marx had some really kooky ideas, if you didn't know). I play a lot of football, and am currently sitting around my house, doing diddly-squat. It's the summer holidays and I'm unemployed... which was fun for a few weeks, but it got pretty dull from then on.
I'm actually contemplating writing a 6 page biography to post here because, as with you, Jess, I am very, very bored.

I'm a math student at Utrecht University. My third year will start in a few weeks. If everything goes well, I may be called "BSc Joeri van Eekelen" (Bachelor of Science), instead of "Dhr Joeri van Eekelen" (equivalent to mister). Next to my math major, I do a Computer Science minor.
Next to university and Dink? I hardly even play Dink (or make D-Mods for that matter) anymore. I'm currently more into DooM mapping (1 and 2, don't have DooM 3).
Sometimes I do little programming jobs (Using Haskell or Java for applications, PHP for webpages), and I'm terribly internet-addicted.

Im currently going to high school, i have a job too but..no comment
I'm gonna be a second year computer science student at Utrecht University. I had a job at some factory (for teh moneh
) for a few weeks and holidays will be over soon. I'll be a student assistent too, should be ok
I haven't done anything Dink related because I'm more into Command & Conquer: Generals these days - I can't wait for Tiberium Wars either as I'm planning to upgrade my computer at the end of this year or the beginning of 2007 so it'll play all the new games smoothly

Ooh, what are you assisting? I'd like to do FP in the third term, though I'm not sure if that's possible for non-major CS people. Math subjects are kinda boring to assist, though Group Theory is nice.
Imperative Programming, should be easy
I'm gonna try to become an assistent for one of the groups with pretty much only information science people because if I'd have to assist one of the computer science groups, it'd conflict with a "hoorcollege" of another course (they somehow scheduled at a time where they shouldn't have scheduled, you know - the A, B, C, D system
).
They probably don't look at what your major is if you want to do FP; after all, you have done the course yourself so I guess they'll just check your grade for that course and perhaps the other grades as well - that's what the registration page said.
