How do i get a longsword?

I cant get enough money to by a longsword in the original Dink Smallwood game, will some tell me how. I have found 200 in the house by the castle but i dont no how to get the other 100 i need please explain!
They're in the old mine.

cool thank you thats brill will the one by the village earn me money aswell?
the way i did is was i kept running back and forth to the tree, filling my inventory with nuts and then selling them all. Which took a really long time

where can u sell nuts because that sounds like a very gd idea?
U can sell the nuts at the same place where u bought your sword. I recommend getting 500 gold and then buy herb boots that make you move rly rly faster and then gather more nuts till u get neuf for ur sword. That's 'bout it!
Why settle for 900, why not collect 25 000 for the fire bow by selling nuts? It might take a while, but hey, at least the shop keeper will have enough nuts to feed his family for the next 10 years.

lol yeah i think i may go with the idea ofjust killin boncas but thanx guys, da nut thing may come in handy if i giv up on tryin 2 kill da boncas.
erm, it would be better for you 2 get nuts, it's maybe 10 mins of work for a longsword.

go to shop, and pay 400 coins and you have it. go your inventory and take your's longsword.

It eassy you need to save the parade so the you can talk to the man in the bookstore and he will te you that the bridge is back up, then you and pass the bridge. There at the East they will be a store and there you can buy a Longsword.
I really wish I knew how people find these posts. Do people go back through the forum page by page or something? It's still a huge mystery to me.
