What old, "prehistoric" things do you like or used to like or not ever liked? Ex: Pacman, Table Tennis (the ball bouncing on a line segment trying to score by missing the opposing line segment)
I think the pong is cool...like...not really...pacman is cool though. I have a new version of old style pacman on my GBA. I'm really just curious what you old folks liked in the dark ages.

I enjoy playing old Sierra adventure games from time to time (Quest for Glory, Space Quest, King's Quest).

I put prehistoric in quotes. I meant the period of like the first video games. So dinosaurs don't count!

Prehistorik 1 and 2 were pretty good games too, actually.

I liked and still like Commander Keen, Jazz jackrabbit, EarthBound, those kind of games. And Dink, of course.

Mmmm, pizza.
Jazz Jackrabbit!

I like most of those Apogee games. Hocus Pocus was the bomb.

Ooh, and the first Prince of Persia. How often I've finished it, how often I've tried it again. Never got around finishing PoP 2 or PoP 3D. I've lost track since 3D.

Also, old music, like before the 70's. The Beatles were pretty good...

Chop your own wood, and it will warm you twice.
I remember Doom. It was the first shooter I ever played.

I don't know Epic Pinball, but I agree on the others.

Dammit, QBasic is still the only language in which I've ever written a decent adventure engine. I have attempted Java, PHP and Haskell, but it's no use.

@Erwin: Worms! Worms 2 is still the best. Armageddon is not crap, but not as versatile as 2. I have played 1, but I just couldn't get it. World party... I've never done it. All 3D things are crap. Yes I've played them. Worms should be 2D, and 2D only.

@cypry: Doom, yeah. Doom still rocks, and I mean the classic ones. Doom 3 isn't really my style. Since the source code of the engine has been released, there are a number of features added. Scriptable gameplay, true 3D floors, water, fog. There's also a port with slopes and 3D models instead of sprites.

Talking about shooters Blood rocks! And we also have Quake. Makes me think of QUACK!

I also like Comand and Conqer, Red Alert and Age of Empires but then we're getting to less dark ages games. (Dark Ages is also a nice game if I remember corectly.)

And Magicman you're correct Worms 2 is still the best.

Oh yeah...Wolfenstien 3D, Doom I and II, and Quake I and II were "hella awesome!" Really cool, classic old shooter games. Doom III which is the new gen of Doom is pretty cool.

I'm even making a Commander Keen fangame at the moment.
