Well i'd like to hear your thoughts on this subject

I love the game. played it a few years back and just got back into it recently. This game is a masterpiece and the dmods for it are also great. I see a good future dor dink and his pig killing ways

and yeah, I see it as sort of a cult. But not the kind of cult that ends with people drinking poison or jumping off cliffs. It's a good cult for people to get together and have fun with a game that defines awesome, lol

We've always been a cult, and Sabre welcoming new members with posts like "Ah, another sacri... member" doesn't help getting rid of the reputation

Yes, the DDC has always been part of the cult, but not as frequent as it's now. Usually we had to sacrifice virgins to Tal or else he'd call your mother for a "conversation". Or at least something like that

No, we're from a truer sect that believes that the ancient translations better translate to corpse and that carcass is really just a bastagization (may the swear filter be torn to a thousand agonizing pieces by screaming monkeys) of the true meaning.

We never had any good cult music, unless you count the Dink song that somebody made. But not somebody, somebody else.

I must say, all in all, it's fun being part of the cult. Oddly satisfying.

I think there was both someone and somebody at one time or another, I'm just not sure which one stuck around longer. Longer, as in more than three days. Your probably right, it most likely was someone.

It was back in the day. On that board, when dink was still new, people would come and go like the wind, and there was usually at least one person with the moniker Dink Bigwood. At least one, sometimes even two.
