As far as I can tell, clipped sprites (using z and x to clip it in WDE or DE) cannot have scripts attached to them. This sucks.

Odd. That's not been my experience. I tried it jsut now to be sure. I had a slayer "walking" around with no legs.

The problem I have noticed is that they don't resize correctly.

The fish in the original Dink have a script attached to them and are awfully clipped. So I guess that's not true.

Correction, I just tested it myself, the fish. Trimmed it, attached the default script, but after the fish's in mid-air it suddenly disappears. I guess there's some truth in its evil anyway.

What happened was the script I attached to the clipped sprite had void talk(void), when I meant to make it void main(void). So I assumed that it wouldn't work... silly me.
