Simeon's Poll
Now I'm still in the beginning phase of my next D-Mod, I decided to post a question here so I can keep that in mind while I'm creating it. Would you people want a game where you're mainly killing enemies and slashing the bad guys or do you want a game with mainly a lot of quests? So, what should there be more in the game: dungeons/enemies and fighting or quests to solve? Of course, there could also be a combination of both

Just make a lot of towns filled with quests and build a large map around it filled with monsters.
To reach the boss you'll need to be leven 20. You can get that level by a: doing the quests or b: killing the monsters.
everybody happy

I'd like an even balance of killing and questing, myself. But if you're going for more of one or the other, then I'll take quests.

I haven't said I'd go for more of one. I'd just want to know what people like most. Some people like to kill, hack 'n slash etc. and others like games with quests & adventures. But of course, both elements will be in the game

What I really like is quests where you have to go to different places and find things I also like discovering secret places!

Personally, I would like to see more questing than hack & slashing.

The more quests the merrier, but killing enemies and slashing the bad guys while adventuring the quests make the quests more victorious when won.
