help!
help!
i couldn't even get a sword. What do you do after you go into the machine?
Trebor: I asume you went into the house in the woods? After that, explore every passage of the cave. Read the bookshelves...
Grilox: Go to the house in the woods. The passage to it is kind of in between screens...

Alright, ive figured out the riddle, got to the boss, but he just walks around. He won't attack me, and the only way to kill him without taking AN HOUR is to cheat, and even then nothing happens!
It's a bug. Redink wouldn't let illusivefing upload a patch.

Thx, Merlin. Got and repaired telescope. Counted stars in star formations. Puzzling over puzzle.
Any hints?
Any hints?
"Number the stars"
EDIT:
My bad, you already did that. Remember the Star Journal? Read through that.

yeah. sorry about that. i didn't realize that bug was unfixed until after i submitted, so i submitted a patch a few hours after i played it the next day. and, a week and one day later, good ol' dan has finally posted my patch.
I give up, I can't figure out the puzzle. I numbered the stars, read the journal, put them into columns and rows, but I can't find the relationship. Can I have another hint?
If you matched up the number of stars ( with telescope) to their astrological 'signs', then you have the three codes that will unlock the entrance. Remember what the journal said? The signs (ex: Leo, Virgo, Pisces, etc.) are in 3 groups and the groups are plainly written in the journal. Forget columns and rows and relationships. That was just an explanation of how Mary grouped them.
Ok? Let us know if you got the codes.

mwahaha. i stumped somebody with my ooberdeluxe(©2004 Illusivefing) puzzlemaking skills
You certainly had me stumped for a while. I thought there were 3 totally separate
entrances' and I kept going from archway to archway trying to use the first group of numbers before I figured it out. Couldn't think why the arch's wouldn't open! I tried the numbers backwards, upside down, and scrambled.
ARGHH!! You sly devil.
