The Dink Network

Perhaps not the most thrilling news of the day for some, but I found the way back to TDN. I myself was so excited about it yesterday that I dreamt of playing a D-mod.

Welcome back, I remember you from my lurking days. You wouldn't remember me since my first post in 2006(I lurked for years on TDN before posting ) was about 1 year after your last post, when you left I believe. But I for one am excited to say, welcome back!

Welcome back! I wasn't around back when you were active, but I did read some of your reviews when I played DMODs back around uh, I think it was 2007-ish?...

PS: If you feel like playing a DMOD check out Charlie's Legacy and Periculo Island.

I actually haven't played any dmods released between 2007-2021 or so, but those two I did play and I definitely recommend them hah.

Thanks, drone1400. Nice you read some reviews of mine. There are a lot of them, as I remember... We even had some sort of onofficial contest, to see who could write the most reviews, haha.

Anyway, sure I would like to play some Dmods, but I hardly can remember the original Dink, lol, so I have to do reintroduce myself to it all.

@Skurn Haha, I dunno but could be... I like it as a tagline though. "After I woke up from my sabbatical from TDN it turned out to be 17 years later..." Or 18... not sure when I left - nor why. Or when I joined TDN. It's all shrouded in a big misty cloud of nothingness, lol.

A suggestion, if you are planning to replay the original Dink Smallwood, try the Achievement Unlocked Edition of Dink Smallwood to add another layer of fun. It's the exact same as the original game, but with achievements

Huh, all the sudden two things happed that I have expected the least. First, the original 3D models are released, then someone comes back to Dink after years.
Welcome back! Even if the only thing I know about you is that you have created many reviews. That's where I recognized the name.
Oh, and I'd suggest you one of Tim's creations, the Crazy Old Tim... series where he provides commentary about every D-Mod up to the point of the series' creation. It's pinned here in the forums. Guy was talented in writing.

yes, this. even a print you can get that redink1 made. uh, 2 duckass huge volumes, i think.

Ah, yes, I think we can all relate to that, Robj. At least, I can. Anyway, I'm glad you got over it, at least mostly. I haven't complety overcome it neither.
