I've decided to keep it short and simple as it is my first video.

it's about time that channel got some content on it.

Would it be an idea to re-record the playthrough for Dink Smallwood PT (the main game)? The original playthrough is 13 years old, extremely dated, the video quality isn't great, the editing is very late 2000s and most annoying of all, there's so much abrasiveness, shock insults and AVGN style fake-anger/laddishness to the playthrough that makes it impossible to enjoy now. Like the midget rant here.

I might re-record it at some point.

The question is should I leave that old one up when I upload the new one or delete it?

EDIT: I'll probably record the new playthrough in Dink Smallwood HD, and leave the old one up since it gets mixed opinions. A lot of people love that old playthrough and some hate it. I'm not doing any of the extensive intro screens and enemy encounters stuff in the new one though. Too much effort.

I did a full Livestream of that and got every achievement, but they are uploaded on my main channel in long parts. Some of the videos are like an hour long..

So yeh, a more segmented let's play of it would be better on the actual DSPT channel, so I'll definitely play the achievement version again when I do it... I just probably won't be so strict on getting every single achievement this time.

I was actually thinking of maybe trying to get a few different guests or as many as I can. Obviously not all at the same time, but a different guest per episode. Since it's the main game playthrough it makes sense to have other users of the DN as guest commentators.

Who would be interested? It'd take probably an hour. You need discord, a half decent mic(I can clean up some mic noise/white noise/static in post processing, but if it's terrible quality it's a no go), and a stable internet connection.

Leave the old one up! The edgy old stuff has its charm

Unless youtube is complaining about it and jeopardizing the channel, no reason to delete it.

I'd be game as well but it really depends on when you can record, we're in the same timezone which means it'd have to be something like 1 or 2 am for you which is an unreasonable demand from me. I don't want your Lets Play ruined by my kids bursting in or screaming in the background lol.

I'm used to anytime. I'm a shift worker for the railways. My start times vary literally any time from 00:00 to 23:29.

Also I'm about to have a child of my own soon, due next month. I will be busy for a while so I don't know when this will actually happen.

But I will see. I also have a bunch of time off soon due to a new parental scheme at our workplace that gives the same amount of paid leave to mothers and fathers, at the same time. Also a bunch of excess annual leave im taking that they never let me take in previous years. So I have about 6 months off. So Ill probably get some stuff done. I'm sure we can figure something out at some point.

i can guest appearance. i think i qualify as good enough mic and stable internet.

A basic headset mic will usualy do, as long as it's clear enough.
We can do a call test sometime if you want.
