Uh, yo. Why don't I see them "NEW" icons next to updated threads anymore?

It was the same here. But now I can see them again.

On the PCs at school whenever I hop on there, it doesn't show, but on my PC at home, (I'm on now) it shows. So I've just figured it's because the school PCs are crap.

It saves the cookie of "dinknetwork.com" but tries to reed the cookie of "www.dinknetwork.com". If you go to "www.dinknetwork.com" instead of "dinknetwork.com", it should work fine.

Ugly, I know.

I just have www.dinknetwork.com my homepage so it don't matter for me. But now I know why it don't work at school! Cos I got to dinknetwork.com.

Actually, I agree with those people. I find the "www" subdomain totally pointless. It would be like doing "myaddress@mail.example.com" when you mail someone. It's just redundant. You know that when you go http, you visit a www page, just like you know that when you mail someone at address@example.com, you're mailing someone at example.com... you don't need an explicit "mail.example.com", nor do you need an explicit www.example.com.

They're being replaced with "NOT WORTH READING" icons

Yeah. I agree with Pheonix! It's absolutely pointless. There is no reason why we should always type www. But you actually don't need to on most sites. I don't come across many where you actually have to.

Let's put it this way; You can use your own free will and decide if you wanna use WWW or not. Stop crying about it.

I am going to have to agree with Tal... slogging through the forums has been quite ponderous lately. But I'm not really sure there's much I can do, as those responsible for said garbage seem only guilty of excessive exuberance and an almost inexorable ignorance.

Yes, I have to agree as well. The forum seems to be clogged with people eager to hit that 'submit' button all to often...

I really think there should be a cap on the amount of posts to be done in one day by a non-moderator it might remove some of the petty arguments popping up all the time.

Me and Glenn discused this in a private message. We started talking about limiting your posts to about 10 daily or something unless you're talking about something important and in private messages.
