Never ending stories are will no longer allowed.

Not that I give a dang about them, but since I have a right to, I might as well ask you for your reasoning, great sir. So, what's your reasoning for this?

Because they're annoying and just cause people to fight, I'm guessing.

Although the poll showed that more people enjoyed the stories than wanted to end it, the overall results still favored the anti-story side.

I voted that they should end... I don't really think we need spam threads, which is what they were, really.

Oh... I did hardly notice they where there because they're in the 'story' folder and I hate to read stories most of the times.

Ever since they made me read literature at school I hardly read any books anymore... I think it is because of the quality of Dutch literature...

The never-ending stories are great (to some people like me and DinkKiller) and should stay open to those who like them. Those who don't like them, just should leave them alone. My fight is useless though.

that even if you have fight with somone some times it can gain you a friend for instance on that site
i had a fight with someone called Awesome-O
i settled the fight with him then he was my friend
also um i still dont think he liked me any way but maybe that wasnt the best exsamle umm oh i know i had i fight woth this person called ~*BabyBoo*~

Your posts were deleted simply because they contained a bunch of jibberish and smilies. Pretty much any post that is like that gets deleted, it's nothing personal.

It's just my thing that I do, and is usually only half serious. I've said some pretty snarky stuff to a lot of people on the boards, but I still think most of them are cool or decent.

Carrie and I's personalities, outlooks on life, senses of humor, etc. just don't mix well at all.

ps: I don't really take what stikers and some other people here say too seriously usually. That is probably why I don't get bothered by striker or SabreTrout. I know they aren't entirely serious. Actually I quite like them because I realize there is more to them than their harmless jokes.

Personally i think they're an affront to good story writing, since all structure is lost when that many people work on one story and i think a good structure is integral to good story writing.

DISCLAIMER: I mean no offence to any one or their writing abilities. I am merely critizing mass collective story writing. 2 to 3 authors works. More than three does not.

I'm delighted the never-ending stories have been banned. They make me, and the whole nation of Troutonia, wretch in disgust. As opposed to wretching in admiration, or pleasure.

Wretching in admiration or pleasure? lol! never heard of that. you might just of made up a new term. I'm going to ring oxford University and see if they'll put it in their next Oxford Dictionary of Terms (if there even is one). Don't worry I make sure they give you credit for creating it.

i know that watshisname ummmmmmm redink1 didnt mean any harm by banning them but they dont belong to tal they belong to every one so thats why i sand by my descision that we should keep them plus im sure squirrel101 would agree too

also new users might wanna have a go at writing to one but well when they get there they have missed out on it
ive only been on this site for about a week and i would have missed out on neverending storys if i was any later

mabe you can make it so there is only one at a time on the page then once that one is to ful you could make another one

Your account was disabled because having multiple accounts is simply against the rules. You should have stuck with only one to begin with. The neverending stories were banned because they pissed more people off in comparison to those who enjoyed them.

Or that's what I'd presume, you never know about the staff around here... she doging about it propably won't help anyway.

A disabled Squirrel101 a week ago, but I did a really hack job at it, which allowed you to get it working again. This time, I did it correctly.

I understand your concerns about losing private messages, so I made it so nobody can private message Squirrel101, and all of the messages you sent and received as Squirrel101 should show up in your LadyCarrot private message box.

As for the Never Ending Stories... they probably won't return. This isn't anything to do with Tal, and that poll option was a joke.

I closed down the Never Ending Stories because of three things: abuse, inability to follow the story, and arguments arising from where the story was going.

Abuse: There were several veiled threats between Dinkers in the guise of 'story'.

Hard to follow: If you view the forum in Flat view, the order of messages is different from Threaded or Nested view. Therefore, people see the story in a couple different orders.

Arguments: Fairly self explanatory. While there weren't any arguments when I closed them (that I know of), there was nothing from preventing it from happening again.

While it wasn't my original intention to replace the Never Ending Stories, the Interactive Story fixes the majority of these problems.

Meh, WC cracked down on people that had fun colors a couple of years ago, for example using fun sizes in previews or blue marquees in your profile.
