Too many reviews disappearing. ie..I know I wrote a review of The Search for the Treasure. I also know that it was informative enough to be considered a valid one. Yet, it isn't there any more. Why? Has a newer version been released? Why go through the trouble of writing a review that nobody will see?

...as my reviews are mini reviews, and if I can't beat the game (i.e. FIAT) I cannot review it. And I did hear a rumour going around that some people do have lives.

What Dmod are you talking about?? I download mine from the list, every time I feel like playing it. FIAT?? I am never trying that game again. >^..^< (sorry RedInk...it was just too hard)

That's unfair, if I'm correct,(If not, do one) there's a line in the reviews that says who has reviewed it, when, how many points has he given AND which version has he reviewed. So why delete reviews? If that's because the points, you could always take the points away, uncount them etc. So why delete reviews! People see a lot of pain for them.. Ya, maybe not that much, but they spend time for them anyway.

Oh HaHaHa nvm Where is the 2.1 version of the game in which I was invalidated (Island of the Giants) It's not in the Dmod section. If you can find it, I will play it and review it again. Besides it is not fair, as I downloaded the one listed in the Dmod section.

I believe WC was regarding to v1.2 of The Search for the Treasure (and his message was directed at someone else), not The Island of the Giants.

I don't take they're worthless.. It's fun to look at them to see what was the dmod like beofre, etc, and what harm do they cause in the download section anyway, when you see that the review is made of ver.05, and the current version is 6.00?

Too hard? :-/ v1.00 will be much more balanced (and crash-free, I hope), so hopefully you'll have a chance to play it...

Some files go under major revisions. I mean, say someone reviews your understanding of advanced calculus each year from the time you're 4 to 20 years of age. Now, those earlier reviews are worthless, and shouldn't be right next to your current ones, right?
Also, they do hurt the file, as most people aren't going to pay attention to the little version thing, and are going to go by the Average Review Score, which would be lowered by reviews of the file before it was improved upon.
On a side note, the reviews for files that are no longer downloadable (i.e. the (N/A) files in the Neglected category) will no longer count towards the points totals in the near future.
