It's rather funny that you would call Merlin a noob since he was around about as long as you except that he has been here at least once a day and you have kind of come and gone.
isn't it also quite funny how people take things so seriously over the internet? take it easy. i'm just kidding around with him.
You do know that it isn't easy to spot sarcasm or intentional joking when using harsh words on the internet, don't you?
maybe it's just me, but i'd hardly take someone seriously who actually talked like that.
Pi was a good one.
EDIT: oh, and that one Stalin movie (which I believe was called Stalin and that appeared in three or four parts)... accurate description.

The "Terminator" films...
"Braindead"
"Versus"
"Battle Royale"
These are all excellent films (though I'm sure about T3).

Ok, on a more serious note... (I would edit my initial post, but I figure it'll be skipped by now)
Fight Club

Kevin Smith movies (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and maybe the new Jersey Girl movie.. haven't seen it)

Eh.. I don't have many unusual recommendations, or many recommendations at all for that matter. I'm not fond of frequent film-viewing.

I think movies suck.
I only like a few, like Titanic, The King Lion of Disney and a lot of Disney's movies.
Also, some 'old' mexican movies of 1978 or so, heh.

Worst movie ever: Once apon a time in Mexico. It had Enrique Iglesias in a semi-major role need I say more? On the plus side, it was so terrible it was hilarious. Almost as if it was a parody of it self. Like a train wreck, you can't take your eyes off it no matter how terrible it is. You have to see it, if not just to Enrique's worst preformance ever (although his music is up there with this movie). You know its bad, but not nearly as bad until you see him wielding a flame thrower disguised as a guitar case. At that point you have to say, what was Banderas thinking when he signed the contract, and what were the writers smoking when they excreated that screen play from their colons?
It's cartoon violence
And there are lots and lots of worse movies
If you like poker movies, Shade is a new(ish) one with a bit of good Stallone!

I thought I was the only Wes Craven fan of his earlier work (The Hills Have Eyes), though I forget to mention: The People Under The Stairs. For a real freak out feeling: Carnival of Souls (1962)(not Wes Craven), unless you are one of those that dislike black and white movies; I find them much more creepier...
