I will put Prophecy of the ancients at first place, not because it is incredibly good according to todays standards (though it still is very good) but mostly because it set the standard. It showed us that an epic DMOD was possible.

Second place is a bit harder, but I'd like to give initiation a mention here (I see it hasn't been mentioned yet). Initiation was really novel in many aspects and it's good as a game as well.

Hm, gotta be Friends Beyond 3 and Pilgrim's Quest.

Cast awakening is a dmod i have just finished playing, i think that it is unique and very well made....maybe that should be getting votes????

Stone of Balance, Pilgrim's Quest & Prophecy of the Ancients (also because it set the standards and I loved the circle menu ).

SuperDink was Dink's Nightmare it had a name change, SuperDink was V 1.0 and Dink's Nightmare is V 3+

Prophecy of the Ancients used to be one of my absolute favorites, though after the last time I played it, I started to see a lot of its flaws. I still consider it to be the first great epic d-mod and I still love it, but, IMO, it was at least surpassed by CC2, PQ, and Initiation (and probably some others that I haven't played in forever).
