Yes, that does matter in fact. In case of v1.07 do this:
1. Download DFArc
2. Unzip the .dmod file using DFArc
3. Place the folder into the main Dink directory
4. Use your favourite frontend and start playing
v1.08 has DFArc2 included which has an integrated frontend as well. After unzipping and placing the folder into you could use the command prompt to start the DMOD as well.
