Mmmm, pizza. 
In most of western Europe, the legal drinking age is somewhere between 16 and 18. In The Netherlands it's 16 for drinks up to 20% (beer and wine and such), and 18 for stronger spirits. The same holds in Germany. In the UK it's 18 for all alcoholics if I'm not mistaken. I've read that in the Balkan countries, there is no drinking age, as is the case in Italy. There probably aren't any age restrictions in Poland or further to the east. I thought Scandinavian countries were more strict in their drinking laws than other European countries, but I can't say that for sure.
