Actually, only one of his questions can be done fully in the editor... and that's in regards to warps. It's pretty easy... and I'm pretty sure one of the help files describes how to do this, probably this file.
As for a lot of those questions... that's more than I have the time to answer write now, and I think either the file I linked and/or the stuff in the develop folder inside dink should have the answers to all of that.
