Hmm, I just tried it, and it works fine on my PC. If you wish to test, I've made a debug version: go to skydrive2.rwg.ro and from WDE-2.3 download wde_23_logger.zip. Extract the two files into one folder. When a crash occurs in this version it will probably close without any error message, but will create a file called log.txt. Send that to my email.
I'm really curious why WDE+2 doesn't work for everyone. True, there is nearly no attempt to detect errors in the code, but I still find it strange that it runs smoothly on some machines, while on others you get boo-boos.
