If someone reverse engineers dink.exe, they could add all the features we have all been wanting, and also run the original dmods. But, there is already an engine to run the original dmods, so we could just make the new one special for new, more advanced dmods, but them why reverse engineer the old one, just build a newer engine that can make use of the bigger, faster computers we all now have, yet can use older graphics and read the current scripts.
Any takers ??
I have also looked into the modding system used for the infinity engine, and have ideas. The graphics could actually be simpler than either Dink is currently using, or that Baldurs Gate is using, but the dink scripts RULE! It might not be so hard to make such an engine that is simply the best there is.
