Initfont in Linux and Vista
I'm thinking of using initfont() in a D-Mod (I'd include the font to be installed of course).
Does it work in non-Win XP operating systems? If someone who has Vista, Linux or whatever could test this it would be very helpful!

It works, though for now the font size won't be exactly the same (except for the default font).

doubt
Talking about the linux version that was being developed a little while ago, anybody knows what happened to de development of it, plx?
I think he might be referring to this, rather than the port you made.
And I don't know the status on that, I suppose it's still in development?

I released a first official version of FreeDink with v1.08 support, which is now shipped in several GNU/Linux distros (Fedora, Opensuse, ArchLinux, check this as well as www.freedink.org for a status).
Currently I'm working on porting WinDinkedit, and also clarifying the DinkC interpreter.
With these solid basis I expect to build something... interesting
There's also Ogg Vorbis support, so you now can play .ogg musics in your game (which is used for the free distributable version of the Dink data).
I'm not so good at writing news but I try to add some at http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/freedink

FreeDink runs on SDL, does that also mean that the fonts rely on sdl_ttf and thus font support in FreeDink under Linux works fine?
