Did anyone tried making an own shooter game using Doom/Hexen/Heretic engine?I think it's something like making D-mods but...diffrent(Like making an elevator to go up and down, making a deep water etc.).

Daniel, there are clowns.
I know Mr. Walma used to do stuff with Duke Nukem 3d, and I used to mess around with Deus Ex, which is based off Unreal Engine 1.

It's called modding, or mapping, and it's pretty common with some types of games. Anyway, I used to make maps with Duke Nukem 3D and even years later I sometimes still work on a map.

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
I've released two maps for UT2004 - back in those days, I've also created some maps for Duke Nukem 3D but somehow they've never been released.

Creating a mod using an existing engine or even modifying it to the extent that it's a whole new game (like the free first-person shooter Warsow), is obviously more work compared to creating a new environment (map) using the map editor. But it's still fun

Taking the Unreal Engine as an example (because that's where I have some experience), it's "similar" to D-Mod development except large scale There's an editor (UnrealEd), there's a scripting language (UnrealScript) and there are a dozen tools that you can use to create 3D objects (3DMax, Maya, Blender, ...) or new textures (Photoshop) and various tools to create things like height maps to make it really look 3D.

Heh...Fireball5 it'll be cool if Dink was 3D .In any WAD's that we making we can modify weapons and enemies.Play Doom 2 and FInal Doom with WAD called A Eons of Death it's a HUGE WAD which contains over 1000 new enemies and 200 new guns! This WAD is fri***ng cool
