wav. files
G'day. I was wondering if anyone might have a wav file of a record scratch. I could use it for my D-mod.
You could try to google it. I needed it too, but I had no luck finding one
In quick search, I found mp3s... but not wavs... however, it's even easier to find programs that will convert mp3s to wavs.
I found a mp3. file. But I just converted it by renaming the name. I could give it to you, rabidwolf9 if you like.
Yes, please send it to me. To use it you need to load it in start.c, then use a playsound command in your script where you want it to happen. Just look in the dinkc reference for the details. My email is on my profile so if you would send it, that would be great.
Wait, does just changing the extension even work?

The yahoo one. I thought that was the only one there
Update: I got it, but it crashes the game when you load it
Try doing as harshit says, I am doing the same.

Just changing the extension will not help. Download BlazeMP for converting the files.
Btw I think using mp3 is better than wav.

Maybe normally, but for Dink, it would require the Aural+ upgrade that probably not everybody has, for some reason or another... Wav is good for a non-music sound for Dink. I think that Dink can only play 1 mp3 at a time, that's how it was with midis anyways (I think.)
Haha, changing the extension of the file isn't converting. The wav and mp3 file structures are VERY different, so use a mp3 to wav converter.
Seriously, what are you thinking. Like renaming .bmp to .png to get a PNG file?

I usually end corrupting the file when I try to do that. I think that the mp3s do not work for .wav files. The mp3 support only helps you to avoid midis and lets you use mp3's instead of them. It is of no use for .wav files. I have tried it too but I had to ultimately convert it using a software called Easy Audio Convertor.
